Welcome to The Snigger
Welcome to September's edition of The Snigger! This month I'd like to dedicate this issue to Gary Little whom we sadly lost in August. Gary was an inspiration to every Scottish comedian and has been very supportive and a friend over the past few years. The news of his passing has not sunk in yet as I'm sure many of you will feel the same. Requiescat in pace! His memory will live on forever in our hearts.
This month features Chrissy Ross. Glaswegian storyteller Chrissy Ross who along with his burgeoning stand-up comedy career he hosts live podcast shows. He has supported Gary Faulds on his Scottish tour, was Scotland’s entrant for the UK student comedy awards in 2019 and completed his debut run at 2019’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

We also interview Patrick Rolink who chats about his life in comedy and his night he runs at Airdrie. A charity he works for is Spirit Aid, a charity that supports Children and Young People, at home and abroad, helping to improve their health, education and opportunities. This month's review is on 'The Therapy Room' in Airdrie town hall run by Partick Rolink.

Lexi Crawford features in this month's stand-up journey. Lexi is a transgender comic who has been making waves in the comedy scene.

This month we have two funny stories, one by our regular contributor Stephen Hughes and a bonus story by Richard Lala!

We also have gig review Oasis by Michael Doyle and our new problem section where Cosmic Cathy answers your problems by Tarot! Had so many people write in for this month. Keep your problems coming!

Influencer of the month this month is William Gibson, a science-fiction writer.

Lexi is a new standup, if you can call a couple years going "new".
Being an openly trans comic, Lexi has chosen to lean into that: deciding to make a wholly personal set about being trans and the pitfalls that come with it (although she couldn't help but make a bit about Robot Wars: her first obsession in this world.)
